My friends told me they were having a hard time getting their 6 year old to sit still to read. They said he would rather be outside playing with his friends than inside with a book. Nothing wrong with that but at some point, we all need to make time to learn. So I suggested our personalized soccer book for him and told them to slip it inside his backpack and let him know it was about a really great kid. When they picked him up from daycare, he was excited to explain the book about a boy with his name, hometown and same friends! The parents read the book again at bedtime per the child's request and 3 months later, read it about once a week.
I personally think this was a great match since the book was in the same interests as the boy. I'm willing to bet he has learned quite a few words through memorization and repetition... he's off to a great start!

My daughter was invited to yet another birthday party. I know that the parents are particular, so I didn't want to give a run of the mill gift. I came across Magical Kids Books and I got excited. This personalized, unique book was just the gift- educational and engaging, plus priced right! The young girl loved it and her parents too! I love how it makes the child feel special to see their name and certain info about them in the books. I have since purchased a few more for other birthday kids as young as 2, and as old as 10 plus several for my daughter. You can't go wrong with the Magical Kids Books, no matter the age.
